There’s a reason this place has five stars. So many incredible flavors and textures at a great price. Easily the best Indian restaurant in the area. The samosas alone are an explosion of spices. The naan bread is like biting into a cloud; the lightest and fluffiest I’ve ever had. The rice alone was super flavorful; you almost don’t need meat to eat with it. We got the chicken byrani and chicken and fish masala dishes. Mango lassi were a bit small but very refreshing. Food portions are very generous. We will definitely be back!
Had lunch at Food Flame and it was excellent. The Chicken Tikka Masala was packed with flavor and just the right level of spice. The garlic naan was a perfect side to the curry, hot, soft, and loaded with garlic. Overall, a solid meal. If you’re into good Indian food, give Food Flame I highly recommend.
Nice restaurant with plenty of lounge style seating available. Quite an impressive menu selection, and they’re patient and happy to recommend dishes for newcomers. Highly recommend trying them out if you want to try something different and homemade! Absolutely delicious food! Additionally, the portion sizes are big enough for two people, so you’ll likely end up with leftovers!

Served with a garlic flat bread and jasmine rice, this meal was amazing Location: Shopping center near Safeway on Richmond highway in Mount Vernon. Easy to get to. Staff: Felt like family owned. They worked hard to please customers. Worked together well. Cleanliness: Very clean and comfortable Prices: We are from out of town so prices felt a bit high. Locals said it's on par for the area. The portions and quality definitely made it worth it. .
I had a great first-time experience at Food Flame! The customer service was excellent—they took the time to explain the menu and helped me choose the best food. Everything was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back!
I just ordered here for the first time after living here for almost 3 years. I have been missing out! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Biryani. For some reason I assumed the chicken portion came in a sauce, but mine did not. It did not need a sauce. The chicken and rice had so many spices and flavors by themselves. 3 sauces came on the side and they were all so delicious. With tax, the meal was $20, but I could easily make this into multiple meals with the portion size. I will definitely be ordering from here again. I want to try more things, but I liked this order so much I'm not sure I will be able to order anything else. Lol
Incredible and flavourful food. Their saffron basmati rice and chicken biryani are exceptionally well made, soft and fluffy. The chicken korma tasted more like butter chicken to me personally but still very delicious and this may be subjective. The meat is extremely tender and falls apart in your mouth. The portions are very large. It is clear that the chef knows what they are doing. I will definitely be returning and am super excited to add the restaurant to my local favourites.
The food here is absolutely incredible! I'm a big fan of Indian and Pakistani cuisine. This restaurant is not your typical Indian restaurant, much more developed Pakistani flavors. The Lamb Rogan Josh is the best I've ever had. The naan is fluffy, flaky and fresh. Highly, highly recommend.
